URL to video: paste a link, get a new video made from the page

Paste the URL of a web page and Fliz turns its content into a new video. The AI reads the page, keeps the main points, writes the script, generates images in your chosen style, records a voice-over and adds synced captions. It works with blog posts, news articles, product pages, landing pages and listings.

How link to video works

  1. 1

    Copy and paste the link

Any public page works: an article, a product page from your store, a landing page.

  2. 2

    Choose style, voice and format

Pick one of 63 visual styles, a voice in one of 32 languages, a 9:16, 1:1 or 16:9 format, and music. Edit the script if needed.

  3. 3

    Download the video

Fliz generates the images, the voice and synced subtitles. Save the video as an HD MP4 file in 1080p resolution, ready for sharing.

URL to video generator or video downloader?

Many popular online tools called “URL to video” are a video downloader or video converter: you paste a video link from YouTube, TikTok or Pinterest, and the downloader will extract the original source video so you can save it as a file for offline viewing. Fliz does not download videos online or from other websites; it creates a new video from the text and images of a web page.

If you want to download YouTube videos or save TikTok clips, an online video downloader is the right service, not Fliz. Whether downloading is legal depends on the terms of each platform and on copyright: you usually need permission from whoever holds the rights, even for personal use, and rules vary depending on the country. Use this tool when you want to repurpose a page you own into new video content.

Which links work

Fliz reads public pages. The best results come from pages with a clear subject and real text, including:

  • Blog posts and news: the video follows the argument, one idea per scene.
  • Product pages: the name, the description and the photos become a product presentation.
  • Landing pages: a short promo video that explains the offer.
  • Educational pages: a step-by-step tutorial video for educators and trainers.

Repurpose a page for every platform

Repurpose a page you already wrote and the same message reaches people on social media: TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Pinterest, where they rarely click through to read. Because the video is built from the page, it stays close to the original, with no video editing and no production team required.

Creators use URL to video to turn their articles into videos for their channels. Marketers convert landing pages and product pages into ads and campaigns for multiple platforms at once.

What the new video contains

Each video is made of scenes. Every scene has an AI image in the style you chose, a line of voice-over and subtitles synced to that voice; you can move the captions or turn them off. Add motion to the hook or the whole video, add your watermark, and pick music from the library or upload your own copyright-free audio.

Online, entirely in your browser

Fliz runs online, entirely in your browser: no software to install, no editor to learn. Copy the URL, paste it, and processing happens on Fliz servers. Export in HD quality for each social media platform: vertical 9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Pinterest, square 1:1 for Instagram and LinkedIn, horizontal 16:9 for YouTube. All formats are available from the same URL.

Tips for better results

  • Copy the canonical URL, not a shortened link or one with tracking parameters.
  • Prefer pages with a clear title and several paragraphs: the AI needs real text to write a script.
  • For product pages, check that the photos open without a login: Fliz uses them as source images.
  • Only convert pages you own or have the rights to reuse.

URL to video at scale

With the API, included in every plan, send a list of URLs and get one video per page. Connect Zapier, Make or n8n, or install the WordPress plugin so every new post becomes a video when it is published.

Questions

Can I paste a video URL to download a TikTok or YouTube video?

No. Fliz is not a video downloader: it does not save existing videos or screen recordings. It creates a new video from the content of a web page, and the only downloads are the MP4 files you generate.

Which URLs are supported?

Any public page with readable content: blog posts, news, product pages, landing pages, listings. Pages behind a login cannot be read.

What if I don’t have a URL?

Paste the text directly, or fill in a product name, a description and 3 to 10 photos. The video is built the same way.

Can the video be in a different language than the page?

Yes. Pick one of 32 languages: the script is adapted, then read by a natural voice.

Is it free?

Creating an account is free, but generating videos uses credits: there is no free plan with credits. A simple video uses 95 credits, and plans are monthly or yearly with no commitment.

Can I edit the video?

Yes. Edit the script scene by scene before generation and regenerate any image. For more editing, open the file in your usual video editor.
